Upcoming updated Nyonyalicious website

It has been a while since I updated my Nyonyalicious blog post. I apologise for the disconnection, as I took some time off since last year due to family health issues. I am grateful that our family health is now ok,  so it is time to hit the keyboard again.

I have missed the creativity from the writing … so this morning, I thought I’d start putting my thoughts on to paper and start connecting with my keyboard. It has been so long since my last post, and it is really taking a lot of effort to “re-connect” to my thoughts and how to put ‘pen to paper’.

The question I now reflect on – What does Nyonyalicious stands for… – so what was my mission when I started the Nyonyalicious journey?

When I started Nyonyalicious, the mission was to champion my childhood cuisine and make it easily available in Australia, as well as to easily re-create those dishes for people like myself who live overseas and crave for our childhood food ever so often.  At the same time, it also meant sharing my cultures and traditions through those childhood dishes.

For some of you who had known me prior to Nyonyalicious, I used to share my parenting journey and my children’s education and learning journey as a migrant parent for over 20 years, which was through another website called GoKids.

Right at this moment, I am in the process of updating the Nyonyalicious website, and I hope to finish it within the next 1-2 months. For the updated new site, I have the intention of including the GoKids content with the Nyonyalicious platform, as food played a big part with what I have in mind.

How am I going to do it? I am still working on it. I will share more updates as I make more progress.

Will I still be retailing the products I currently have on the website? Definitely! Once I have figured out the layout and content for the updated site, I will let you know.

In the meantime, my apologies again for taking such a long time to reconnect!
